Spirituality Day 23rd March 2018

Today we have been exploring our Understanding Christianity Resource.

Spirituality Day July 2017. After plenty of discussion the children responded to the Parable of the Prodigal Son through writing.

Thanks again to the lovely ladies from St Michael and All Angels Church for preparing and serving our Lent Lunches. It was lovely to see so many of you enjoying lunch with your children.

Easter Puppet Show at St Micheal and All Angels Church.

Easter is a special time for us as we reflect on what Jesus did for us on the cross.

After our Easter Bonnet parade we all walked very excitedly up to church to see a puppet show by Noah's Ark Puppets.

The puppets shared the Easter story with us and we sang some of our Easter songs.  The children were totally engrossed in watching the puppets.  We ended by sharing some prayers and Reverend French gave us a blessing before we set off back to school.

Easter Service Rehearsal.

Rabbits class have been busy practising for our Easter Service. All the children have chosen what they would like to do. They will be acting, speaking, singing and sharing prayers. We are very proud of you and are looking forward to seeing you shine!
Lent Lunches.
Thanks to the ladies from St Michael and All Angels for preparing and serving our Lent Lunches! It was a lovely family occasion. The money raised is being sent to our link school in Uganda.
Carol Service.
The children in our Badgers class led our carol service at St Michael and All Angels Church. Family and friends were invited to join the whole school for this special service. The children shared readings from the bible, sang carols and led us in prayer.
Here are a couple of the carols that they sang to us.

Mrs Sampson can to worship and talked to us all about a Christingle and what it represents. We found out where they originated from and what each part represents. Can you remember them?

Our Hedgehogs then went away and made their own. They shared them with the whole school in a special service.
