Have a good day,

Mr Webster

Good Morning! Here's the learning for Tuesday.

Have a good day,

Mr Webster

Good morning and welcome back for the final half term of this year. I hope you and your family had a lovely half term week. I'm looking forward to speaking to the children this week and will do my best to stick with the days I phoned on last half term.

Here's the learning for Monday and I hope you have a good day!

Mr Webster

Hello Squirrel parents! Here's the learning for Friday.

We've made it to the end of another half term and, although this one has been incredibly different to the ones we are used to, I would like to say a big thank you to you all for the great learning that has been going on over the last few weeks. It has been amazing to see how you have managed to adapt so well to become teachers, as well as juggle your normal jobs, and how you've found ways to keep your children engaged and motivated. So many of us have had up and down days this half term, myself included, but we have all managed to bounce back and keep going!

I have really enjoyed speaking to each family during the course of the week, getting to know new parents and children or reconnecting with families I have worked with before. I've enjoyed hearing about the adventures you have had getting out and about with your children and the incredible amount of baking that has been going on!

For now, it's time to have a rest and enjoy half term week. I won't be setting any learning or making any calls for the next week, but don't worry...we'll get back to it on Monday 1st June!

Have a lovely week and thank you again to all of you for a great half term.

Mr Webster.

Hello! Here's the activities for Thursday! I've enjoyed chatting to everyone this week and have been so impressed with the outdoor art work going on! Great work Squirrels!

Mr Webster

Hello, here's the learning for Wednesday. When you are looking at the letters of the alphabet today, try to make sure that your child knows not only the sound it makes, but also the name of the letter too. Some of you might also like to look at capital letters as well. If 6 letters is too many, do fewer.

Have a good day,

Mr Webster

Good Morning! Here's the learning for Tuesday. Apologies if I normally call you on a Monday and didn't get a chance to yesterday. I'll be catching up today so I'll look forward to speaking to you later.

Mr Webster

Hello, I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Here are Monday's activities. There's also a link to the Book Trust website which has some great books to read online, and also an activity timetable from Dorset School Games which you might like to have a look at.

Mr Webster

Have a look at these fun activities from Dorset School Games!

Friday 15th May 2020

Good morning! This is the second day's worth of planning that has accidently gone missing so, like on Tuesday, spend some time practising the basics.

Keep up with the reading, handwriting and spelling bits you've been doing recently and you might like to review some of the number work you've been doing too, such as the doubling or counting up and back.

If you'd like something else to do, follow the link from Tuesday to the Oak National Academy website. There are lots of great EYFS activities on there for English, Maths and the foundation subjects, so take a look and let me know how you get on!

Have a good day,

Mr Webster

Hello, here are the activities for Thursday.

Just so you know, I will be doing all of my phone calls in the afternoon today - I'll look forward to speaking to some of you then!

Mr Webster

Hello, please see activities for Wednesday below. We're back to the normal plans for today and tomorrow!

Have a good day,

Mr Webster

Hello! Please find below learning for Tuesday.

I've had a few parents asking about reading books and I just wanted to alert you to the Oxford Owl website. It's a site linked to our reading scheme and if you register (for free) you can have access to a wide range of e-books to suit your child's ability. It also has links to Read, Write Inc and so has some useful phonics resources on too. Definitely worth having a look!
