We have been practicing hard in our Samba lessons and have thoroughly enjoyed learning how to play these amazing instruments.
Owls class would like to invite you to a performance next Thursday (24th November) at 11:45am. During this performance we will demonstrate what we have been learning, teach you about how we have learnt our patterns and share our love for this music.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Miss Mills and Owls Class
On the school newsletter Mrs Green has asked the children to keep a record of what they do over half term, in the form of a diary. Alternatively, a child may choose to recount a special day. I would like the children in Owls to focus on using different fronted adverbials to started their sentences and different adjectives/adverbs to create more complex sentences.
Have a lovely half term and I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 1st November.
With the weather getting colder more and more children and bringing coats to school. This has meant that the pegs are getting fuller. Can I please ask that children do not bring a backpack into school as there is not enough room for them on the pegs. If your child is doing a club after school that requires a different kit then we ask that they bring it in a draw string bag instead, as they take up less room. The only items that should be on their pegs are their coat, PE bag and lunchbox. Their water bottle and book bag are to be kept in the classroom.
